The YSP-900 offers two Volume Modes. The Night Listening Enhancer mode offers two settings, Cinema and Music, to ensure that you don't miss movie dialogue or quiet passages. There is also a TV Equal Volume mode to prevent sudden bursts of loud sound such as from commercials. The YSP-900 applies sophisticated technology to precisely control the orientation of the sound by focusing it through multiple beams. The My Beam Mode features the sound at a specific position with just a touch instead of surround sound so you can focus the sound to the place where you are sitting. The center channel sound is heard directly while the sounds from other channels are heard after reflecting off walls.
